The First Meeting of the Working Group on Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis (TDA) took place in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, on 15 March 2018. The meeting objectives were:

•to learn about the TDA / SAP process and agree on how it fits the national priorities and tasks,
•to get acquainted with the experts in the field and learn about their expertise in relation to the TDA/ SAP,
•to agree on the TDA development process: formalization of the WG, its members, tasks and deadlines, coordination and communication within the team and with the beneficiaries.

35 experts from the two riparian countries (including Transdniester region of Moldova) representing environment and water authorities, hydrometeorological services, science, NGOs, water intake facilities of Chisinau, and a number of representatives of international projects and donor organizations took part in the meeting.
